Senior Young Lifesavers Award

During activities week some of our Year 9 and Year 10 students achieved their Senior Young Lifesavers Award.  The health emergencies that they learnt to deal with included:

• Bleeding
• Shock
• Fractures
• Burns and Scalds
• Choking
• Asthma Attacks.

They also learnt a range of lifesaving techniques such Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation and placing someone in the Recovery Position.

They all passed with flying colours and were awarded certificates.
