School Industry Liaison Officer - Ms L Culkin

• We pride ourselves on our links with industry - they are getting stronger all of the time.

  • We are a TDR school with 12 students working in local Engineering companies.
  • We have approximately 70 students placed in local organisations as part of their work related learning programme - these include local garages, hairdressers, cafes, hotels, restaurants, local engineering companies - to name but a few.
  • We teach vocational studies across the entire KS4 curriculum and each vocational subject has links with local and national organisations.
  • We have all of our year 11 students placed in local organisations for work experience.
  • We have a group of students following the E 2 E little Bruvver programme.
  • We work with local training providers.
  • We have specialist professionals working with students and staff on specific projects such as web projects, enterprise ideas etc.
