On leaving school I worked as a sports coach with South Tyneside Council during the summer holidays whilst studying at college. I have also worked voluntarily in many schools as an assistant P.E. teacher.
I am currently in the final year of my degree in Sports Development and Coaching, hoping to go on to complete a PGCE which will give me QTS in teaching. I am also a qualified dance teacher, teaching Ballroom, Latin, Salsa and Country and Western Line Dancing around the South Shields area.
I'm one year away from qualifying to be a P.E. teacher. Sometimes school may seem too difficult, but when you realise that everything you've worked for is in sight it's well worth the effort. Stick at it and you will reach your dreams.
