Design Technology

At Harton, we offer students a range of opportunities to develop their skills in Design Technology. At key stage 3, students follow short modules in each of the five areas of Technology - Resistant Materials, Systems,Graphic Products, Textiles, and Food Technology. This year, a module on Engineering has been developed.

Students as young as year 8 are entered for GCSE in Graphic products and the results are always very pleasing.

In key stage 4, all students select a study option from the above disciplines. Some students follow a GNVQ Intermediate route into Engineering.
