Common Application Form (CAP)

CAP Information

The introduction to the ‘Common application process’ (CAP) takes place at the end of year10 and progresses into year 11 when students have a clearer idea of where they would like to continue their education.

To simplify the process of applying to college and sixth forms at the end of year 11, students are now able to complete one application form and send that form to all their chosen venues with the click of a button.

This is called the Common Application Process (CAP) and students at Harton this year have the chance to use this process. Before they can do this, they must thoroughly research the prospectuses of the schools and colleges in the area.

They can do this through ST19, a website designed to give information about these things. There is also a users guide to help to find their way around the website.
