2008 The Routes to Employment – Apprenticeship event 2008 took place on Thursday 18th September in the school hall.13 providers of work based routes to employment took part in the event. They were:-

2007 On Thursday 23rd November we hosted our second Routes to Employment - Apprenticeship, Modern Apprenticeship and Training evening (Work based learning event), the second of three such evenings. Although we used the same basic format for the evening as the previous one, by inviting similar training providers and setting the hall out with 'stalls' for providers to set up their information and banners, we changed the timings for the evening with the intention of attracting more interest. We held the event earlier in the academic year, so that students had time to make choices before applications needed to be made and we held it at a more 'user friendly' time of the day for working parents. We also invited the whole year group instead of targeted groups, as these qualifications apply to all abilities now. These changes seemed to work as there was a steady stream of interest throughout the evening and those students and parents who attended seemed gain plenty of information The training providers who attended were; 1) Access Training Ltd |
