Sports Days Report / Result

Year 7 & 8 attended Monkton Stadium on Tuesday 4 th July 2006. The P.E. Department took both of the entire year groups (534 pupils) pupils along with spectators.

Years 9 & 10 were the only competitors at Monkton Stadium, Jarrow on Thursday 6 th July 2006.

At each venue, the competitors were representing their own house:

• Lawrenson - Blue
• Chapman - Green
• Kirwan - Yellow
• Fenwick - Red

Lawrenson House have won the year 7 and the year 8 competition and Chapman House won the year 9 and the year 10 competition.

12 Athletic events, with 2 competitors for each house therefore 24 competitors per house - boys and 24 competitors per house - girls.

Both events were held during activities week and were a huge success in celebrating sport.
